Star Citizen Referral Code
Add 5000 UEC to your Star Citizen account for free

Creating Star Citizen account on the Roberts Space Industries (RSI) website is without obligation. In accordance with the referral plan proposed by CIG, the use of a referral code allows you to benefit from a 5000 UEC bonus while being ready for the Free Fly events that are regularly organized during the year, in order to allow you to test the game.

For this, you just need to specify the referral code of a friend when you create your Star Citizen account, if you don't have any code, you can use the code STAR-QP2M-YLS3 from citizen-logbook.com.

Copy the code STAR-QP2M-YLS3 and paste it in the Star Citizen account creation form in the area provided, or follow this link to access: registration form with citizen-logbook code already in place.

STAR-QP2M-YLS3

The Referral Code can only be used when creating a Star Citizen account, and cannot be retroactively added to a pre-existing account, so it is in your best interest to do so now.

What is the Referral Code?

It is the referral code from another player.

Is it mandatory to use a Referral Code?

No, but using one doesn't cost you anything and doesn't commit you to anything, simply specifying one will add 5000 UEC to your account.

When should I use the Referral Code?

When you create your account.
You will be asked for it on the Enlist Now page of the RSI website, in the "Referral Code" box.
If you do not see this box, click the "Add Code" button to make it active.

Can I add a Referral Code later?

No, once the account is created you will not be able to add a Referral Code. Your only way to take advantage of the referral benefits will be to create a new account, but this requires that you have not made any purchases on your current account, or that you can transfer your entire account to the new one.

What do I get for using a Referral Code?

You will receive a bonus of 5000 EUC, the game currency, as soon as your account is created, i.e. these 5000 EUC will be present in your account even if you are on a trial period of the game.

In some cases, it is possible that adding a Referral Code will give you an extra bonus, such as a Greycat PTV or a Dragonfly Black, but this is exceptional and implies to acquire your starter pack when the special promotion is effective.

What does 5000 UEC mean in game?

It's not a fortune, but you should know that once in the game you start with a flight suit, a helmet offering only the bare minimum in terms of protection, a handgun and its magazine, and a medpack, as well as your ship and a minimum of 1000 UEC from your starter pack.

Having a bonus of 5000 UEC can allow you to buy your first FPS equipment, or to have a small reserve of UEC in case of trouble to pay the first expenses that can quickly arise in game as obviously fuel, ammunition, ship repairs, or even a fine, or worse, insurance costs in case of loss of the ship.

If I use someone's Referral Code, I earn 5000 UEC, but what does the owner of the code earn?

Rewards ranging from simple badges to ships up to Javelin, but many players hope to reach the 4th rank to get the Gladius.

As you can see below, at your first recruit you will already get a reward, at your 5th recruit you get a Greycat PTV and an aquarium for your Hangar, at the 10th recruit it's a Gladius, and it can go up to the Javelin, but you need more than 2000 recruits to get there. Attention, we speak here about "recruit", it implies that the sponsored person specified your Referral Code at the creation of his account, but that he also made a purchase of at least $40.00 HT on the site of Roberts Space Industries (This purchase corresponding generally to the price of a basic Star Pack).

I don't know anyone who can sponsor me, how can I find a Referral Code?

There are many ways to get a code, most of the Streamers propose their code, some sites and forums propose code exchange systems,... and you can of course use the code proposed here:

STAR-QP2M-YLS3

Can I also offer to sponsor other players, family or friends?

Of course, once you have created your account, you will receive your own Referral Code that you will just have to pass on to others.

Where can I find my Referral Code?

Your code can be found in two places, you can see it directly on the Referral Program page, or by consulting your account on the RSI website, in the "SETTINGS" tab you will find a link "REFERRAL PROGRAM", just click on it to find your code and the status of your recruits.

I plan to have several accounts, can I self-sponsor (to take advantage of the gifts)?

Yes, it is a practice already used by others, but do not abuse it too much.

Do the ships and vehicles obtained through referral have insurance?

Yes, unless otherwise stated, it is an LTI.

Can I give the gifts from the referral to another player?

No, whether it is the 5000 UEC or the gifts obtained through referral, all these items are linked to the account and cannot be passed on to another player.

I received a ship through referral but I don't use it, can I upgrade it to another one? Or can I melt it?

You can use this ship as a base for an upgrade and thus take advantage of its insurance which will probably be LTI. But be careful, it can't be Melt. So the base ship and everything you do on it will be permanent.

Can we cancel an upgrade made on a ship obtained via the Referral program?

Yes and no, by default the button Exchange is not present on the ships coming from the program of the Referral, you cannot therefore Melt it. However, if you want to cancel your upgrades, you can make a request to the support to give you back your original ship and the value of the upgrades as a credit.

I created my account a long time ago, but I don't remember if I used someone's referral code, before I use it to buy a starter pack, I would like to make sure I used a referral code, how do I do that?

The best way to know is to check the presence of the 5000 UEC that are attributed at the creation of the account. Because if you have used a referral code, these 5000 UEC are already present in your account.

To be sure, check your account on the RSI website, in the "Billing & Subscription" tab, you have a Credit line that details your total Store Credit, UEC and REC.

If your total UEC is over 5,000, it is very likely that you have used a referral code, but if you want to be sure, the easiest way is to click on the "UEC Log" button next to it, and in the winnings detail that appears, if you have the line "5,000 UEC - UEEREC enlistment bonus" it means that you have received 5,000 UEC from a referral code.
